We met Christos in 1999 - he worked at the Piccolo
in the harbor of Paros. He was charming, witty and really enjoyed
life. When we went back in 2000 I asked the waiter where Christos
was. He told me he had died in an accident involving horses.
But Alex (the new waiter) said "don't worry - he lived his life every
day. He missed nothing." Makes you think, doesn't it?
